When arriving at our practice, you'll be warmly greeted by our friendly receptionist before being invited to make yourself comfortable in our relaxing waiting room. We have calming music, free wifi, aromatherapy and beautiful photographs of around Melbourne.
Our receptionist team will be here to help answer any of your queries about your visit. We ask that you please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment, to allow for time to fill out a medical history form. This information will assist our dental team with your important relevant information. Remember to bring your health fund card and Medicare card to your visit.
Most new patients request a check up and clean at their first appointment. For new patients this will take 60 minutes. During your appointment you will be welcomed by Dr Rickman and your concerns will be discussed carefully. He will run through your full history and get an understanding of your dental issues. During this time, a full oral examination will take place to assess your mouth, gums and teeth for any signs of concern. Dr Rickman may recommend taking x-rays of your teeth/mouth. He might also take some photographs and moulds of your teeth if necessary.
If you require further treatment we will provide options and full written estimates of the cost involved. We do offer flexible payment plans for larger treatments to make our services accessible for all patients.
We understand that you may be feeling nervous or anxious about your first visit. Please make it known to our friendly reception team if you are feeling anxious when booking your appointment.
